Bentone burner
« on: March 04, 2014, 01:42:10 pm »
This is my burner im using in our garage.
Its an Bentone-verken. Made in Sweden 1965. Made to run on heavy oil #3.
Now its running on waste engine oil.
The oil must be cleaned before it can go in the burner or the pump will be worn out by the crap thats in waste oil.
The oil is heated to 80-90 degres Celsius in the electric preheater before it enters the nozzle.
Oil pressure is about 10 kg/cm.
The capacity of the burner is 24 - 50 Kg oil/h.

Hey BMU, that's a real nice set up you got there.

What type of filter are you using to clean the waste oil?

Thanx!
Im using an oil separator from De Laval. An regular filter can never clean the waste oil to run in a burner like this. Thay are just for big stuff like mouses and stons.
Here is a video of it.
