Hi,i am just new here,i have been reading a lot on waste oil heaters and have now built one.

Yes, for sure, looks good.  Makes me wish I could weld.  Did you follow some plans to make your heater?

hi,
i never followed any plans,just looked at a few on you tube and just went for it,lol.
i have done a few mods since i made it.
i started with a lorry fuel tank to store oil and piped it to the heater.i have now just fitted a 20ltr tank at the side of heater so i have less pipeing in case it clogs up.
the problem i am having is controling the oil flow,im using a ball valve at the moment.
will try and locate a needle valve and see if that helps.

bought a needle valve today and fitted it,seems to regulate the flow better now.

How big of an area are you heating and what kinds of temps are you achieving?

The Garage is two bays,the heater is in the centre and in freezing conditions i can work with a T shirt.not sure of the tempreture but it is really warm.

Man that's a sweet looking fire in the bottom of that thing! Do you mind sharing your burner construction?
