It finally got cold enough to start the oil burner back up. Had some pretty mild temps in November, but now that it got cold, had to get the fire burning. I took the burner out because I was having some problems getting the burner to light. Thought it might be dirty after running it last year. Below are the pictures of the burner after about 10 hours of burn time last year. I started to wipe the block off and remembered I better take some pictures. I was surprised at how clean it actually was, although 10 hours isnt really that much. I cleaned things up and changed the tip to a new .65gph B - solid cone. It lit pretty well and when I got the air and pump pressure dialed in it was burning nice, but maybe a little too focused with the solid tip. Things were getting red hot. I will probably switch back to the A - hollow tip.
The last shot is a little hard to tell what it is. It is a picture of the inside of the burn chamber.
