I believe your burner needs to be on the outside of the stove to work correctly.  If the burner is on the inside of the stove where is the burner getting it's oxygen to burn the fuel?

what regulates your pump? how do you know the oil volume/pressure at the burner. if you look down on the red tank the gray box is a metering pump. I believe it's needed to be used with your burner.

heat exchanger, aqua-stat, expansion, a couple air bleeders, and pump I have two ball valve  for water lines in and up. water supply for closed loop system you'll need water valve, check valve, pressure valve. does your boiler have a pressure release valve?

are you planning heating your domestic hot water?

what kind of boiler did you buy?

welcome to the site.

my local plumbing shop helped me with the closed system, expansion tank, air bleeders, aqua-stat. most of the other stuff is from outdoor wood boiler set ups. pumps, mixer valves thermostat control.

Your welcome. Maybe down the road you can return the favor to some else with burner problems. In the last five years I've had a lot of help from a lot of people. That's why we're here, it's to help each other. I just don't stop in here as much as I use to. Glad you have your burner running.

I would replace the CAD sensor with the correct part. Sounds like the primary safety is not getting the proper signal from the CAD sensor and shutting the burner off.

Was your burner trying to fire for 30 seconds or did you have a flame for 30 seconds?

Welcome to the forum. I'd try looking at Granger first. http://www.grainger.com/content/general-catalog
Or at Centralohioheaters. http://www.centralohioheaters.com/All-other-brands.html
Got any more pic of your burner?

Russ,
It's getting tougher to find the volume of waste oil that I use. The fuel oil will help me get a head on the amount waste oil I'll have on hand. Burners got 11,000 hours and has been clicking them off with no problems.

Get your free heat where ever you can. Scored 550 gallons of free fuel oil this weekend. All I had to do was pump it from their tank. Looks like some of next season we'll be heating with fuel oil.
