Commercial Waste Oil Heaters / laniar waste oil burner
« on: February 02, 2014, 12:26:51 pm »
A freind of mine gave me a lanair waste oil motor burner assemblly. do you think I could extend the tube and keep a small
nozzle on it and use it in my furnace like you would like a ck burner kit. Also what I read the air pressure opens the fuel
valve to let the fuel in. Do you think it could be gravity flowed into instead of a pressure pump or not. thanks for any response I might get

The commercial units do not use one that I now of. But I could be wrong. In my pressure system I do not use one. I only
use a five gallon container to gravity feed my becket oil furnance that I run waste oil through at 25% diesel and 75% waste oil mix.

Siphon Nozzle / Re: reznor style nozzle used in beckett burner

the price could be comparable if you do your research for the best prices. you can by a universal siphon nozzle adapter from patriot supplly and design from there. dont get me wrong the ck burner is a good system because there is support
behind it and he can tell you what you need for his system to work proper which is great. I have serviced two reznor
units that we had in our shop. that is why I brought up the topic. It looks real close in design to a pressure nozzle system but it has the adapter on the side to make it a siphon system with a front and back 30 watt heater on the fuel nozzle system. i wish somebody would come up with a good canister pre heater system like the reznor system uses on
on the cheap side of things. I have been looking. will come up with something.

Siphon Nozzle / reznor style nozzle used in beckett burner
« on: December 25, 2013, 09:59:41 pm »
Has someone used reznor ra/rad parts to make a siphon nozzle. The basic set up is like a beckett pressure nozzle but the front is converted to a siphon nozzle. The parts are available from outher sources as well as reznor. Also I have seen
from pattriot supplly and ebay universal nozzle adapters.

I currentlly use a stock beckett burner pressure nozzle set up and mix my waste oil with 25% diesel . looking to go pure waste oil and change my nozzle
