I was thinking and i haven't found any as of yet. How about a high performance Ignition Tranformer  say up to 50,000 volts? i want to find one this way i can save money by heating the oil and maybe gat a hotter spark?

Air Regulators & Guages / Parts that work
« on: November 27, 2010, 08:59:07 pm »
I used a cheap air regulator with gauge from carquest for about 15 bucks. Thats how i can see and control the air flow going into my nozzle. Then before that i have a ballvalve mounted before it just in case it needs to be closed in a hurry.

Constant Level Device / Constant Level Device

I think it's a great and cheap idea to use one with easy to get parts. I would use a stainless stell ball instead of plastic for the float and make sure the rest was made out of brass.

Siphon Nozzle / Re: siphone nozzles

well i have changed my design and saved a bunch om money in the process with my siphone nozzle set up i have now. No block heater will be needed. Russ i'm having trouble trying to get the pics posted at the library. So i will see a friend this week and post what i have done. But when you see how i have changed the design it makes it obsolete to use that chunk of aluiminum and just keep a j-tube and the siphon nozzle. So far with all i have done i'm up to 120 dollars in my build to include my constant level device as well. I can't wait to get the pics up on here to show you my build.

yes you can! i would use a propane cylinder and weld in fittings to it and a fill port. This way you can pressureize it with air and at the same time filter it with a car filter and heat it at the same time. The trick to burning wmo is to heat it between 160 and 200 degrees. Then at the high temps it becomes like match light. You can even use a needle valve to have it flow into your exsisting set up so it could be a small drip so it won't run away when it gets too hot. ::)

Siphon Nozzle / siphone nozzles

Lets see what people are building with siphone nozzles and if they are or aren't using them in a becket gun. i don't use mine in a beckit gun cause i'm restricted with space in the old coal stove i'm using. Lets see some pictures on what people are building and go from there.

Siphon Nozzle / Re: What is a siphon nozzle you ask?

i love a siphone nozzle! I built my own head assembly and i think it's cheaper and easier in the long run. Lets get a topic designed around a siphone nozzle. i will post some pis of my build. i played with the guns and there great too. but if your limited in space and arrent using a furnance this might be easier.
