Waste Oil Heater > Fuel Pre-Heaters

What temp should oil be preheated to?

(1/2) > >>

Russ:
From what I have heard:
WMO: 180 - 250
WVO: 275 - 325

What is everyone else preheating to?

Kyle:
well on the wvo.. I donno, but on the wmo I do know that if you go much over 180 f you will start to clump the carbons out of the oil, eventually clogging your nossel

Dale T.:
Looking at "factory made" wmo units, they run at 160 degrees and talking to Mike of "Mike -Donna" he recomended arround 170 and no more than 180 degrees or the oil will start to carbon up and start plugging nozzels.

Russ:
I've been running mine around 200, maybe I will turn it down a bit.  Dont want plugged nozzles!

snicks:
I heat all my units at 165F is a realy good temp.
