« on: December 20, 2012, 04:53:57 pm »
Only been using burner for a couple of weeks now,its a drip feed system,
went up on the roof today to fit the flashing round the flue only to find black soot all over the roof, the inside of the flue is thick with soot as well.
can someone tell me why this is happening and how to correct it,
thanks for now.

hi,
i never followed any plans, just looked at a few on you tube and just went for it,lol.
i have done a few mods since i made it.
i started with a lorry fuel tank to store oil and piped it to the heater.i have now just fitted a 20ltr tank at the side of heater so i have less pipeing in case it clogs up.
the problem i am having is controling the oil flow,im using a ball valve at the moment.
will try and locate a needle valve and see if that helps.
