Hey, just joined today. I've been burning drain oil to heat My shop for 3yrs now and I like it, I will try to post some pictures once I figure out how to drive the Forum around.

Welcome Nubs! Glad you found the site. It sounds like you have a bit of experience burning oil. Yea, post up some pics and lets see how you are making that drain oil burn!

This was/is my testing heater, was not intended to stay but once the bugs were worked out it became 100% reliable. if the outside temp gets below 10 its runs 24hrs a day, building a water boiler for the gun this summer.

The picture showed up just fine. That is an interesting looking heater. Are those pipes in the back the exhaust?

Yes it Was a heat exchanger from something, just using what i had laying around. 250gal oil tank set on its side, like i said there was no plan on using it lol..

I mounted the gun in a door, easy for cleaning nozzles, inspections etc.

Can you tell us more about your burner/gun?

I need to figure out why my pictures are showing up so large when you click on them? I post pics from my tablet on other forums without a problem.
Pictures just helps me explain the story sometimes..

I don't know the proper term for it, but I just click on the "image.jpg" next to the paper clip and it show the pic very well.
