Hi
Plenty of waste engine oil going round hear

Looking to heat a box trailer up of an area aprox of 2.5 X 6 meters. Have a log burner in hear so if I could buy a space heater that will fit inside of the burner then i can put that inside the log burner or better still buy an oil burner that is flued

The usual tool shops round hear only sell Diesel space heater so i guess waster engine oil wont run on them

Russ:
Hello Henney do dar,

I dont think I have ever seen anything small enough for that size space.  The diesel space heater would be a perfect size, but it looks like it soots up pretty fast if attempted to be run on waste oil.

I have now watched all of that video!
In the vid he critosises another YT vid, but I watched that one and another from the same youtuber as well

Instead of running waste engine oil, he is running waste veg oil, but he is duel fueling it starting it up with heating oil then switch over the veg oil, also he has filtered the veg oil with a coffee filter and looks like he has had better results

But watching his vids, that diesel heater looks to be very inefficient indeed!

Russ:
Intersting, I'll have to check those videos out.

The smallest one I have seen is a forced air propane furnace converted.  Its tough though be cause waste oil likes a deep chamber and any small stove is going to have a hard time with that.  I am thinking a pressure or siphon system.  Maybe a drip system would be able to be scaled down a little.  You could drip it into something small like a fish house stove.
