CB 2500 Initial Cold run woes
« on: November 18, 2014, 08:27:36 am »
First Post.We have a CB 2500 that is 11 seasons old , eastern pa we use it 4 months a year . For the last TWO seasons every morning it will nor start to burn w/o cycling the red button for several minutes . Clearly it has fuel pressure interruption for the first 5 minutes . The gauge fluctuates wildly when it is acting up   We have had it serviced by Petro choice /craft oil last season and last week . No change . We have cleaned all the filters including the  feed pump screen . I assume oil is bleeding back but can't find where . We cleaned , and changed the check ball in the pickup. Once it gets warmed up it will work and re fire properly all day . Why the factory tech can not the problem is another issue ...  Ideas ?

You are sucking air somewhere between the pump and tank.
