Hi,

Service is very important for that model of Lanair. It sounds like you are on the right track though.
The correct nozzle for that MX is a -5. Lanair part number 9899.

It depends on what model of Lanair you have and what you are trying to bolt it on to.
The older Lanair "BB Gun" or CA series burner head are way out dated and some key parts are no longer available.

An HI or FI or MX series burner heads are good ones. I would strongly recommend a fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator.

Remember that you need to be able to clean the combustion chamber you are using. Burning waste oil creates ash.
You will need a chamber about 20 inches long and about 24 inches in diameter to house the flame produced by most burner heads.
