hi, i dont think a ranco will work cause when you power it up it sends power to the source untill it reches the desired temp you have programed so when the gun fires you could be down in temp and it wont fire, unless you leave the ranco on a seprate circuit so its heating the block all the time even when the gun isnt running, i would just worry that the oil will clog your gunver time

Hi  Doug
i also am running a Ck burner assembly it works great. but i do have a carbon problem between the electrodes
causing a bridge, then it wont fire.  it doesnt happen often, have you run in to this problem, other than that it burns clean and put out a pile of heat.

HI Andy,
first of all thanks for all the info and pics. im builing the same system as you except im using deisel to fire and heat the fire box up then switching to wmo, im doing this manually at this point till i get some bugs out, then with electic valves and a timer on the deiesel, i figure it woulnt burn much deisel at all, its just enough to get things hot. to acheive a good burn with the oil, what are your thoughts on this being your a electician. thanks steve.
