Title: Beckett conversion

Hello forum

I just bought a beckett oil furnace and I'm looking to convert it to run off used oil. does anyone have any tips or pointers for stuff to change in the unit.
any input is greatly appreciated.

Greetings oil man Mike!

Sounds like you started out with a nice system to do a siphon conversion. 

I'm not sure on how much research or knowledge you have on the conversion process.  Have you decided on a pressure or siphon system?

If siphon, check out these builds.  They are boiler conversions, but the burner conversion process will be the same for forced air.

 Welcome to the forum. I'd like to add these to your search. The first one is the one that got me convinced that I could heat with waste oil. The second is a youtube video of his new and improved furnace design of the first one he built.
